COCODRIE, the islands, and offshore to nearest rigs
 

any body had any luck lately around these areas? Finally got settled in with school and we're heading out tomorrow in that viscinity and was wondering if the trout are in or are we gonna have to head offshore.

How much further offshore should we head out in search of specks? been hearing a few reports of em inshore but they're too small . any advice would be appreciated

still dying to use and catch with my TW. Not one bite ever on the superspook...

Mardi GRAS rigs pickets? Not sure don't fishe there much, I'm sure the wellheads in terrabone bay pelto and barre are holding fish to

the wellheads in the bays will be the first stop more than likely, i've heard alot about the MARDI GRAS rig , gonna look up the location, thanks bro

If you can make a night trip any of the platforms in Terrebone Bay area have stupid amounts of trout. Most of the platforms have lights facing the water and you can catch doubles most casts. Not big fish but average 15-16 inch range. You'll catch the occasional 20+incher but mostly small stuff.

U r not gonna want to go offshore tomorrow 2-3 ft seas but hit the back side of the islands

its gonna be a day trip, but we still are probably gonna hit up those up anyways

Last couple of weeks, all Ship Shoal Rigs have been producing. Live croakers are a must.

bahh..just got back and finished washing up. Headed out by nang nang's(dulac right before 4 point) and got 3/4 ways through terrebonne bay---and turned right back around. Wind was blowing like a mofo, so we headed back towards some platforms. got there and had a few boats tied off already so we headed back north towards dulac. Fished some protected areas and no luck, went fish by the draw bridge before four point and caught a few reds and specks but all were real small. Ended the day at 1030 after cruising the boat around some more. there's always next time

talk about shrimp boats ---they were out in force. the spots we did try and fish still was blowing way too hard to even get a good cast.(when the anchor wasn't slipping. ) had fun regardless. got a much needed re-tan.

weirdest thing ever....for the first time ever since we bought the boat---the depthfinder worked miraculously....on the same note, chartplotter is now borked.
