My dads bar needs to be restained. What is the best way to make it last with constantly having beer bottles and drinks all over it?

sand ,stain then a cover w/ clear acryllic.

Two-part epoxy...if you want it to be timeless. You can even pour it over FSU newspaper/magazine clippings. :cool:

x2. A little of a pain to do but will last forever. If you go this route watch videos on YouTube first. And a little secret to get the bubbles that show up is to use a heat gun over them at a distance. It will make them disappear.
