Sabine Lake 7-5

Couldnt sleep this morning so I decided to hit Sabine again. Wasnt as good as last week but still managed some good trout on top water and plastics. Ended with 7 trout and 1 flounder. Broke off at least 4 good trout and 1 huge flounder, got to get the net and quit trying to sling em in the boat. Water was a little dirtier than last week but overall was still good. Unfourtunately I forgot to take a pic before I dropped them off to a friend.

" No live bait was injured in this catch "

I never try to "sling" a flounder in the boat, if it is something I am going to keep.

Thanks for the report Trey. I'm going to get over there 1 day with you. I've never fished over there.

I use 30# braid for flounder just so I can jack-jaw em on the hook set and bassmaster em into the boat :)
