here is the short video of pinky that i got...she only pops up twice once at the very start of the vid (keep eyes open :eek:) and then towards the end...sorry couldn't get very good video, but got plenty of pics

i've only been to big lake 3 times, and we saw the pink dolphin (we didn't realize she was a local) and thought it was pretty cool, but didn't think nothing too big of it. I guess it is pretty cool that we got to see her. She seems to be a pretty big deal for big lake fisherman. We saw one in grande isle one day surfing the waves, that was neat.

Next time I go to big lake though, I will make sure to take pictures if I see her.

There was an article in the paper a couple of months ago and they asked for people to reports sightings of "Pinky".

Call Mandy Tumlin, Biologest for LDWF to report information. Call the Baton Rouge office at 225 765-2346 and ask to talk to her.

BTW, your video is much better than others that I have seen. I tried to get a video, but all I got was water. Pinky did not come back up after I got the camera out.
