Passport?
 

Goin to cabo in October and I've never had a passport. Anyone know where in lake Charles I can go apply for one and the credentials I'm gonna need?

post office. but you can fill out the paperwork online. just google passport. go to CVS and get you 2 photos

Official birth certificate , SS card, drivers lisc. Also some paperwork they will give u.
U can expedite the order for like 150$.
That's 5-10 days
Regular is like 35$ and it's like 7-9 weeks.

Actual passport aint real expensive.

Post office in lake Charles, not sure of the street but it's downtown close to Broad Street.

Drivers license , original birth certificate or certified copy and a 2x2 pic. For around $130 they will do the different money orders, passport application and take your pic. Just bring some dough and those documents and your good to go. Usually 4 to 6 week turnaround unless you expedite it.

I just did mine didn't pay anything extra and got it in 3 weeks

The only place around here that you will get a passport pic worth using is the Walgreens on 171 in Gosport. Then take your pics to the big post office downtown and let er rip!! As stated, drivers license, birth certificate, your pics and some dough.

Also I took my photo at the post office, the post office web site will let you know if they do it or not.

Lake Charles does not. OR did not the last 2 times I got a passport there.

The one down town did 3 weeks ago when I got mine.

Post office is on the corner of Moss st and Kirby street...... a few block south of Broad st.

It is about half way between Enterprise and Rayn st.

The office is up on the second floor. Go the the web site and fill out the information.... this will same you some time while there.

Ahh well, you prolly be a lot faster if you brung a pic yourself. But the last time I got mine, which was about 3 years ago, they didn't do pics.
