Bearings for trailer...

All bearings for trailers are made the same... right? Is there any brand bearing better than another?

Not all bearings are the same quality....timken is the best. If you live around lafayette area go to bearing supply on jefferson st. Just bring your inner and outer bearing and they will match it up. You will probably need change the hub seal as well.

Do they make a tool to get the racer out easier than using a screwdriver and hammer?

Yeah they do,but the pullers are very expensive. Snap on is the only one that is decent and it is around 300 bucks. Try using a decent sized punch or chisel.
