Salty 05-17-2011 01:40 PM

Finfeatherfur 05-17-2011 01:50 PM

Family members farm out by Lake Providence. He says it's stil rising up there! And this old house is the highest part of 6500 acres. They did not loose any equipment and this house did not flood in '73.

Micah 05-17-2011 01:53 PM

Yep, soon to be dead deer!

Wide Open 05-17-2011 01:56 PM

Thats a heart breaker for sure. As much vengence as I have for them from Oct. 31 to Jan.31 just went out the window with that picture, and a prayer goes out to the families that have had any kind of destruction or displacement due to this unfortunate event. Very SAD!

simplepeddler 05-17-2011 02:03 PM

Wished they where hogs...........seems it would be easier to stomach if it where hogs.
Hope the family endures.

Wide Open 05-17-2011 02:09 PM

Yeah I could stomach it if they were swine! No prob. Mass murder! Sorry for the derail!

Dink 05-17-2011 02:13 PM

Out of season or not, I'd have to take a few........they're gonna die, may as well get somethin out of it?

southern151 05-17-2011 02:17 PM

Aside from the BS post I made earlier, I sure hope they are able to salvage some of their belongings. I couldn't imagine taking pictures like that of my own home.

DUCKGOGETTER 05-17-2011 02:18 PM

Man that sucks. My thoughts and prayers go out to these people of this tragedy

Ray 05-17-2011 02:58 PM

I don't know how much time they had, but I would have left my clothes before I left the tractors. That's some serious bucks they are gonna lose.
THey might be more salvagable cause it is fresh water, if they are not under water for too long.

SaltyShaw 05-17-2011 03:36 PM

:withstupid: Thats some cheese goin to waste

Dink 05-17-2011 03:42 PM

Ray, I was thinking the same thing......but, if they weren't expecting it to get this high.......
