Three weeks ago coming back from my dads house I noticed everyone lapping me. Figured it out at the Woodworth exit when I saw the 75 limit.
Not a state deal since the feds control interstates, guess they want everyone to buy more fuel for the tax $$$.

It changed 2 weeks ago up there, but here they are writing tickets at 80mph. I always run 77-79 through there, so I will keep it about that until we see how bad the ink pens will fly.

Watch out in Washington parish right at the big ranch with all the longhorns. The sheriffs are writing tickets like crazy. They stay right at the down slope of the bridge and catch everyone doing over 80 too mezmerized by the cattle to slow down. I love 75.

I just did a job there in ville platte monday and the plant guys there were telling me that the state police were on the local news there and they said they do not like it! They also made it clear that the speed limit is 75 not 76.

Actually it was a state law that was passed. I-49 is not officially part of the US interstate system yet since it is not connected in North Louisiana to Arkansas (which has had their part completed for a while now and we still lag behind). It is officially classified as I-49 Corridor.

That's St Landry parish and local Po Po but they only get the $$ for anything 10mph over.

Move to Montana. On the drive home from Washington, we did 100 and passed up cops on the interstate, not once did we get pulled over. Helped my brother move home after he got out of the Navy.

Sorry Salty. Washington police, not Washington Parish, they are too busy keeping you in line.
