Tried it, really liked it. Really hurts when you start but after a week its not bad. Made it through 17 days before my life became too busy to keep up with it. I'm going to try to start again soon. Good luck its a huge challenge and you will quickly learn to HATE Tony

Send me PM for free bee

I did it for a little while its pretty intense but its to repitious for me i cant do the same thing over and over for a long period of time, but if you stick to it you will see some major results. You must change your eating habits also, and eat more small portions throughout the day. If you eat 3 times a day now eat 6 times a day and high protein snacks, it will boost you metabolism and as in stated in a previous thread DRINK WATER i drink 8-10 bottles a day when im offshore, but not so strong at the house.

simplepeddler 04-19-2011 10:41 PM

I have eating on my side......I am already a small portion guy and eat pretty healthy just cause I like my vegetables. Not a "fried" guy either.

No soft drinks water and juice mainly.
Think If I can stick to it, is will see some major results. Just have never worked our before at all.......so we will see.
Thanks SaltyShaw, free is a great price

If its your first time getting right, then prepared to see one helluva difference. Diet is 70% of getting fit /diet/sexy what have you ...

Even if u choose weight training ...my key exercises (and Arnold also) would be pullups/dips/pushups...those 3 exercises will never get old...and are probably most effective(since they do jot spot target one muscle but multi.if u get too advanced add weights. .

If u really beast do 5 sets of 8 wide grip pullups with a 45 lbs plate clanging against your nuts..if u don't hear it....trust me...others will lol

That stuff looks rough!

It'll work, as any exercise routine will. Hopefully if you finish the program it be a lifestyle change and you'll keep up some type of regular routine. I've seen people make it through and be in the best shape of their lives and then just get off of the band wagon start looking for the next best thing out there.

Yea, that's a great point.
Hell, I am half way there, I need to trim about 15 pounds that is all.
just want to get feeling better.

cmdrost 04-20-2011 09:50 AM

did it for about a month. Really liked it but I can't seem to work out at home and it got very repititive so I burned out really easy. Lost about 6 pounds in 1 month though.

booyagasha 04-20-2011 01:17 PM

Calisthenics is cool, but i'd much rather lift....although muscles you gain with Calisthenics(body weight exercises) it will take longer to lose, where as weight lifting muscles---goes almost as fast as it comes

swamp snorkler 04-20-2011 09:30 PM

just jog around the block....if you have an i phone get the couch to 5K app......i'm down 22 pounds doing that and watching how much
i eat.
