Stay N Charge

Anybody using one of these. Read alot of good things about them. Just wondering if anybody has any personal experiences. Its supposed to charge your trolling motor batteries while you run

They also make a deal that plugs into your trucks wiring harness to charge your batteries while towing

My dad has one. He loves it. Only had to put his batteries to charge 3 times last summer. He fishes in a bass club so he fishes a bunch.

Not a lectrixian but I don't c how a truck alternator can possibly keep all of the electrical going and have enough juice to charge 2-3 other battrees. Would Braquet please chime N??

it should have plenty........most of the time your alternator is just idling as long as it aint got a big load it should have plenty to charge 1 battery at a time.

New cars and trucks all have high output alternators to run all of the electronics, can't even run a car without a good battry or functioning alternator anymore. Find it hard to believe you can charge one battery much less 3-4 off of one alternator.

So, how many (minutes or miles) would it take to charge a 36 volt system with 50% charge back to full charge? Just seems like alot of work for a little sugar.;)

this is just quoting off the website...." on a 150 outboard for every hour of running your trolling motor it would take 15 min. of running big motor".... you are probly right just seems like a neat idea
