I am not completely familair with this new tax on high fat and sugary foods, but why in the hell tax us for food we buy with taxed money when our "leader" can't stop smoking??

how does taxing fast food, help anything? I just wouldn't eat it, I'd make my lunch every day for work not spend it at a local restaurant I wouldn't have to tip a waiter/waitress. millions of Americans would join in on the "savings" causing the restaurant industry to do worse in the economy effecting millions of people who would make less money and spend less money creating less money in taxes!
