oyster fireline

Anyone know how far you can oyster up the west bank of big lake..... I know this up here is out of the line, but before I call I want to know if they moved it up farther than last year?

Making a call right now.
What part of the lake you talking about?
West side of the East bank? Like Long Point?

They are leap frogging from the old jettys to the North. They can't go too far
North. There is some PVC marking the North line.
Right now they are by the old steam engine, working the reefs East and West.
There are not many Oysters on the East side this year, but they said that they
are finding some big, old Oysters that they must have missed last year.
There are also some working South of the line that the tugs are working to bring
dirt to the levee on the East side of the lake.
They are fatter this year. Most Cameron fishermen are avoiding the West Cove
right now cause them Oysters are not in demand right now.
They are getting $25/sack and $72/gallon for them shucked.
