The ugly....

I post the good, the bad, and the ugly. Here is the ugly, went to Ft. Polk WMA this am with my buddy, get to a good bottom and sit down. My pack fell onto a drain about 3' deep. I got up to get it and rolled my ankle pretty bad. Aggravated, I walk to the truck cause I done ran off everything within 5 miles. Take some obupfrofen 800 and started walking to a different spot again. Ended up seeing 11 does, a wild horse and someone's dogs. Today wasn't doe day, unfortunately

I'm not up on current regs. But I thought a few years back they did away with doe day.

On state/federal managed land they still have doe days. On private property you have tags for does.

At least you got to see some deer man!

It was awesome. Had one within 20' of me. They were firing off grenades and morters about 100 yards behind me and that doe didn't even bat an eye. Unreal
