venice

my tourney partner brad and i took his son and step son down river this morning hoping to get on a nice big trout bite then go hit the rigs in east bay to let them pull on some snapper, ling ect... ended up being a little to bumpy to bring the kids out rig fishing so we let em pull on bull reds all day. first ting this morning bait was EVERYWHERE started tossin topwaters but only had 6-7 ft bull sharks blow up on em it was cool to watch and let the kids see it but got old quick so off to the sand bars ..... toss a plastic in the breakers count to 3 set hook , watch kids do figure eights all over the boat trying to land em! between re- riggin rods , un tangling lines and nettin fish for the kids i think i made 20 casts all day . it was still a blast watchin them lil dudes get a work out
