how can they open up that and not the rest of the coast its stupid. the coast off cocodrie is still closed cant fish the beach but in venice where the oil was closer to is open we have very smart people makeing the call i guess.

They probably don't want a lot of people running around on the beaches because there might still be oil on them. or oil might wash up while there are people on the beaches and be a liability issue. so the best way to police that is to close the whole area around the beach

So we can run outta all the passes and fish the bays and short rigs???

Yep according to the map everything in state waters around Venice is open
