weedless topwater

buddy of mine at the tackle shop today gave me a few of the new (i think YUM) soft plastic topwater bait that look like a hookless spook that you texas rig with a #6 wide gap worm hook. they are pretty sweet lookin . they look like you could have some fun with em in grassy areas with some redfish makin em blow up outta the sludge! i will post some pics tomorrow

yeah we got a few money hound baits at the tackle box a few months ago.. they look great but they didnt exactly fly off the shelf.
i tried them.. they do come thru grass really well but they didnt smash it like they did the horny toad that day.. and i really had to HAMMER the hookset to get it to stick the fish because the plastic is so hard.:work:
the package reccomends a 7/0 ewg hook... i found that a gamakatsu g-mag hook works well on this bait
