I would love to revisit Hopedale area and Shell beach...
I went on my very first ever "real" fishing trip when I was five yrs young with a family friend...
I was so excited my mom's breakfast didn't last long...When the family friend arrived that early morning my stomach emptied it's contents...The concerned family friend asked my mom if he should rescheduled the trip and she laughed saying "he'll just toss his cookies next time too"..."My boy is fine so take him and have a good time"....Even today, when I get excited anticipating a fishing trip, I just skip breakfast....lol
He rented an aluminum V haul (orange in color) but provided his own motor at the marina in 1971...I caught my first bass ever that day and the family friend stuffed a piece of paper the fish's mouth so I could sure be it was my fish when I showed it off to my dad...

Glad the area is doing well!
