hackberry public boat launch
 

Does anyone know when they plan on re-opening the public launch. I went there today by boat to check on progress and from what I see there is nothing that needs to be done. thanks for any info.....la-boy

We passed down the channel yesterday in our big boat and saw some equipment still there and some dirt piled up on the levee.
I will see what I can find out.

My uncles camp is right there at the end of channelview past turn to public
launch. I talked to him about it the other day. Said it should be ready in a few weeks. Sucks having to drive from his camp to Spicer's to launch.

What are they doing to the launch? My camper is right there next to Browns and never knew they were doing anything...

They are re-doing the backdown on the ramp. I think it was caving in, but I'm
not sure.

I took a boat view yesterday and the launch looks perfect, new concrete and all, I'm sure they poured it with a hard northern a blowin. Just curious what the hold up is, thanks for the replys
