I was gonna paint the reel so I figured I could disassemble and reassemble it myself. NOT! After I get it painted, I'm sending it to one of the guys at 2cool to reassemble. I would have half the parts left over if I tried it, myself.

I'm painting the frame, puttin' it in a box and shippin' it to be supertuned. I ain't gotta worry about puttin' it back together. Can't find a cork handle to fit it so I might use a handle from a 100D7.

I'm using metal etching primer and finish paint that is designed for chrome bumpers/trim.

Y'all like the color? Thought I'd trim it (pawl, worm gear shroud, etc.) in the silver/gray color or maybe gunmetal. What y'all think? Don't hold back. :eek:

Google it. I helped my buddy paint my cousins truck that color. Its a little darker than a medium blue, but with silver flake. I'll try to get a pic in the AM if I remember to!
