guys, need ideas

Have any of you successfully gotten out of having to go to a wedding? I've tried and tried, even got the baby involved, but she is standing firm..........oh, red devil, no need tocomment, you couldn't even get out of going to your own wedding g, so I do t expect you'd have anything for me.........hehehehehehe

adamsfence 01-29-2010 08:21 AM

how close is the people to u

Red Devil 01-29-2010 08:27 AM

Tim, why would you even ask such a thing. I had to go to one a couple of weeks ago for some people I didn't even know. But she did. You can't win Brotha. You're married, you should know that. LMAO

QUACKHEAD 01-29-2010 08:30 AM

longsidelandry 01-29-2010 09:20 AM

Damn, I must have it made. I just tell her I don't feel like going and I don't have to go. One of my wife's best friends got married a few months ago, she was even in the wedding and I didn't go. I told her the LSU vs Bama game was more important and the marriage prolly wouldn't last anyway lmao

Ray 01-29-2010 10:02 AM

When I got married, we had a big screen TV with the LSU/Tenn. game on.
My wife insisted on that date, when the wedding was over, beer was cold and the TV
came on.
Those who were not interested in the game danced outside with the band.

Ray 01-29-2010 11:01 AM

I don't go to weddings, just the receptions.

If you get a job offshore, you can do all the stuff you want to on days off while
the wife is at work...
You have to make sacrifices. If my wife demands something from me, I demand
something from her. She usually gives in cause she don't want to give in to my
demands...

BellPepperHead 01-29-2010 11:31 AM

Easy. Go to the camp, turn off cell phone. Deal with consequences on Sunday. You can thank me later.

bay_slayer 01-29-2010 11:37 AM

Easy.............pull the fuse for the ignition control module on her car

Gottogo49 01-29-2010 11:57 AM

Suck it up. Just let her know that you don't really want to go but you are doing it for her. Suffer in silence, trust me , it will pay dividends. Works for me.

Hier Soir 01-29-2010 02:00 PM

Jordan 01-29-2010 02:42 PM

yeah tim, she made u go to the wedding, make her drive back.. its the least she could do to pay u back !!!

Dink 01-29-2010 02:46 PM

she dont drive, not b/c she'll be drunk, but b/c it terrifies me!!!! I just can't ride w/ her............

Jordan 01-29-2010 02:50 PM

drink enough, you can ride with anyone !!!! from what i seen at pete's.... you drinking enough is not that hard to fulfill !!.... (hope she aint reading this)

Pool Boy 01-29-2010 03:11 PM

Just go to the wedding. I view it as putting in the bank and some time in the future you make a withdrawal.

If you act like an ***, she won't consider it putting in the bank and you are worse off than if you would have not gone.

Gottogo49 01-29-2010 07:02 PM

Pool Boy, we think alike. Maybe our wives are kin. Dink, if you do it right, she will be a happy camper - you too. I've been married to the same woman for 38 years. The good more than makes up for the bad.
