Wow 41 views and no responses, looks like we have some guilty folks

"W" 01-16-2010 10:03 PM

Eman.... I don’t think you will have to worry about that BS over there.... if TT lets you post it up good..... It’s not saltycajuns fault that some have bad blood with that guy.. I really don’t know who it is but I have some ideas ,,,,,,,, just post it up and worst that can happen is it gets taken down!!!

On the hand of Jsmoke..... I don’t have anything with the guy but some took it to heart when he opened up a site and followed this one!!! He told me that he had it in plans before ours came along...So if he did so be it........... There is a group of hounds after him and I have emailed and tried to keep them at bay!!

I know some guides were mad that he put there link on his page and some other things were said as well!!! I would just look the other way and let it die down

Shad and I have no fear of him doing anything wrong on our site;) Maybe LAS needs some more Mods???

think i'd have to agree fritz

eman 01-16-2010 10:19 PM

No i wouldn't post anything on LAS w/o permission just like i wouldn't do it here.
If i post something there or here and it's removed that looks bad on me.
Just pisses me off that i'm trying to help out w/o making waves between the two sites and this happens.
We have allmost 100 entrants to the tourney from this site alone . Imagine how many we could get from there?
I thought that the tourney was more important than SC vs LAS.

blackmamba 01-16-2010 10:24 PM

I'm all about raising more money for the charity but I like this being a "SC" tourney.

huntin fool 01-16-2010 11:26 PM

Guys,

rember what the SOLE purpose of this tourney was about, it was for us (SC MEMBERS ONLY) to have a get together not for us to go to other sites stealing there members. then me and speckdaddy decided to donate half the money to charity.

So don't go pointing fingers please.

Ya know that's the same thing them gals at the gold club say.
Didn't believe them till i was doing a job in one of the dorms at LSU . They had a coed that didn't mind walking out the shower sans clothes while we were working on that floor. My helper came back to work one monday and told me he had had a lap dance from her the sat night b4. Once she got discovered she got bashful.:(

It was on Pelican Island when I worked there in the late 80's.
I saw one of their research boats was in the bone yard to be scrapped.

Shad and I have no fear of him doing anything wrong on our site;) Maybe LAS needs some more Mods???

The sad thing is that both of these tournaments are for charities benefiting children. Our opinions of LAS & their members aside, it's the charities that are losing out here. I actually emailed Andy Crawford & got permission to post my tourney on the LAS board. It was up for a few weeks before those guys started bashing & got it pulled. Apparently they don't have a way to lock a thread over there.

I think we both have a common goal where our respective tournaments are concerned. That is to get the word out about them so that we can raise as much money as possible for our charities. I promised Shad that I wouldn't post my tourney info here until after the trout shootout. The SC tourney has been on my event calendar for 2 months. I don't have any beef with anyone on this site. I don't know who those guys are that keep bashing my posts over on LAS but I can't stop them from doing.

Like W said, some folks got upset when I made my site public. I don't know who they are but I've also got a few ideas. No one called or emailed me & said "this is ***** guide service". Someone did post an anonymous comment saying that I couldn't post a link to something he apparently said on another website. Those guys doing all the bashing over on LAS sure are upset with me about something. To each his own I guess. The Fed. issue os LAS mag should get them off my back for a day or 2.

Anyway, I'm fishing in the SC tourney. I'll be wearing a bullet proof vest just in case the internet bashers come out of hiding & are feeling trigger happy! No worries about me causing problems here. I'm here to help out in any way that I can with the tourney.
