I think I am going to head down there today

adamsfence 01-09-2010 08:57 AM

me to

Gottogo49 01-09-2010 11:17 AM

My wife wants to go to the Cameron Fur and Wildlife Festival so we're heading there this morning. Maybe boat show tomorrow. Too cold for me to go hunting or fishing. I can remember breaking ice duck hunting with my cousin when we were kids. We waded with jeans and tennis shoes. Your feet go numb pretty quick. We thought we were big stuff when we got hip boots. Nobody had waders back then. I can't handle it now even with waders.

SFA 01-10-2010 08:48 AM

If you have not been by the Lake Charles boat show, today is the last day and your last chance to get a FREE hat when you sign up for a 1 year membership. So stop by the SFA booth, right next to trout pond, and get your membership. You can purchase SFA koozies, decals, visors and patches at our booth as well.

SaltyCajun Fishing Towels are sale at the SFA for $10, only 6 left!!

Ray 01-10-2010 11:46 AM

I saw a couple Salty Cajun towels at the LCT booth.

Well I went to the boat show......awesome time. Thanks Ray for talking to my boys - they had a blast. Stopped by the SFA booth and picked up my Salty Cajun Towel. Couldn't blast the wife away from the cooking booth, but on the flip side she agreed to a boat upgrade. Oh, and the Twiggy squirrel did not drown - the little rat made a swim for freedom.

Both days, the people working with me were watching the squirrel and the cooking demonstration.

How was the game? I didn't try it. I had a couple SC towels at the booth too.
