me , med/heavy6'6'' , and fritz20 went to hopedale today it was super foggy and the tide was bumpin! i caught a nice red at one of the first stops on a spinner bait then nothing for a couple hours we decided to make one last move and got on a nice trout bite driftin some small bays . med heavy was werain the mini specks out on his fly rod he had to have caught 30 back to back, and did manage some keepers on the fly and a few on topwater !! fritz20 was throwin the jerkjr, and a bomber longA which was producing, i threw a corky devil which produced as well. none of the specks were massive but fritz20 got the biggest of the day. the water was the clearest i have ever seen it in a louisiana marsh 5+ ft of vis. you could see the trout take the corky it was pretty bad azz. the last pics is first thing this morning thick fog. we ended with 45 specks and 1 red

Clear Water
 

Found out last winter just how clear the water gets back in ameda. Trout wouldn't hit a bait that was tied to PP. had to switch to mono to get bit.

Thank god those trout turned on today... Good trips folks, now I need to find a replacement for that lure that broke off:pissed:

Nice catch guys - looks like ya'll had a great time. That fog was crazy thick - so thick on our end that Josh thought he could walk on it - busted his but and almost fell out the boat.

Fritz - how do you like those lures?

ASR - if you're nice, I have the baits...About to get a bunch more glow as "W" took em all.

That bone/chart one caught the big fish of the day. I caught a bunch of fish on it and it is still in great shape. I am very impressed with the durability of these lures and the colors are great too!!

are those bone or pearl i thought the bone was darker
