Just read on another site, not sayin any names, but this 14 yr old kid was telling everyone how he just got in to hunting and that he would take donations to buy the gun HE WANTS. ***. Are you kidding me? It's a sad day when these kids are using these forums as an outlet to beg fellow sportsman to buy them things or donate something to them. My Dad would of tore my butt up if I asked for something like that from anyone else other than him. Don't get me wrong, I'll HELP a kid out to get him into the outdoors, but for them to come on these forums and beg for donations is just rediculous. MY .02

i bet that the 14 yr old wouldn't want that .02. Although its the only money he deserves. This example is telling of the way this country has gone.

IF HE IS EVEN 14 AND WANTING THE MONEY FOR OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT. HE MAY BE WANTING SOME BLOW.... I MEAN SNOW FOR CHRISTMAS. My dad died when I was 14, and he would have come back from the dead to give me a donation of wup arzz had I asked for freebies.

yeah.. i remember that. I thought that crap was funny. Those boys caught what 10 redfish in three trips and they are ready for the pros. money problems
heck they had someone on here named ironman or fliesit dies. they did pretty good , i believe they bummed a 40 hp yamaha and flat boat. if it makes you feel good go for it. you might try and hook up with those guys and see how they did it.

Ok guys, here is my story.... I am 30 years old, have a full time job and make $47000 a year. The boat i want costs $70,000+ and I cannot afford it. I have been saving money since 5th grade but have had to put myself through college, buy a house, put clothes on my kids back, take my family on vacations, and put food on the table. Due to those circumstances, i cannot afford the boat i want. I sold my smaller boat in hopes to one day buy my dream boat but i am a long ways away. I am taking any donations. Mom always told me life wasnt fair and that I would have to work for the things i wanted, but I am willing to take donations.

Well while we are at it my 20 foot fish master has been in the shop for almost a year now with almost 2 grand spent on repairs and it still wont run. Anyone want to offer to work on it for free:D, I can t afford any more repairs esp. when the problem never even gets fixed.

Might want to take donations to get this fixed???;)

My grandma gave me my first shotgun. A .410/.22 over and under. It had a .410 barrel on the bottom and a .22 on the top. Still got it.
I wanted a pump shotgun so I mowed grass and bought a .410 Revelation pump shotgun from Western Auto in Cameron for under $100. Had to get the stock cut down cause it was too long. Still got it too.
In the 5th grade, a guy who owed my dad some money for work he done, gave him a few items cause he didn't have the money. One of them was a Winchester 12 ga. pump. He gave it to me. It was a featherlight and it kicked my arze for a few years, but I still shot it. Hurricane Rita took it cause I forgot it at the hunting camp in Cameron.

If you are starting out, you don't need the best. Get what you can afford. Single shot crack barrels are cheap. What if you buy a $1200 shotgun and don't kill anything or don't like hunting?

I would like a to "own" thousands of acres of marsh, flooded timber, and rice fields....Also a camp made out of hundred year old cypress pulled from the bottom of a lake....Two stories with a jaccuzzi on the top balcony with 3 stratigically placed stripper poles w/ a bar as well...Also add an array of four wheelers, UTV, and boats loaded with prodrives etc.

I could go on and on...but the sad thing is theres probably a guy out there with all this...:(

Selling drugs will make you rich fast. Get some household cleaners go to to the woods mix them together, boil it up and sell it. Within no time you will be riding down Range ave. in a brand new truck pulling a brand new boat with 5 guns under each seat. or you can go pick up dog crap out of peoples yards (good money)
