Allow myslef to introduce my....self?

Who know what line that's from? HAHAHA

Hey guys my name is Marty and I live just south of Shreveport. Just recently got back in to red/trout fishing about a yr ago, forgot how much I missed it. Use to fish out of Corpus Christi back when I was flying helicopters with the USCG. Me and a buddy (fishin Dave) use to take a helo out for a "maintenance flt" and do some spotting :*****: then we would go tearem up!!

Now I have a family and two kids long gone are the days of fishing when ever I want.

My son and I hit big lake often, we can be in the water in three hrs, sometimes we make it a day trip, sometimes we spend the night and do it again. at times the wife and daughter will come.

I have a 2014 Epic 22SC with a 200 yami

well nice to see you guys, Ill be postin up

Hey Marty, I've seen you over on THT. Welcome to Salt Cajun. This is a great site, you will enjoy it. THT is kind of a frat party, this is more like a crawfish boil. Half of the lies told here are true, some of us turn left three times to make a right, and the standard response to any general question about fishing is "hire a guide". But the a people are great and the arguments are even better. Hope you enjoy the show.

thanks for the welcome!! Speaking of hiring a guide we recently went to Venice on Black Friday, the women went shopping we went fishing. Got hooked up with Capt Hoop and he came through like a fart in church! have a look heres the thread on the report

I think you got the analogy wrong. A "fart in chruch" would be a bad thing. LOL

Sympathy for the devil?

It's great that your family can fish together even if it's not every day. ;)

thanks!!

I do have to say it rides nice, and only draws like 11-12" as well it plains out quickly, but most importantly momma feels safe in it

I'm in Vermilion almost exclusively. If you ever make it out this way, keep your eye open for a grey/blue Epic. If you see it, flag me down and say hi.
