V-Bay 5-18
 

Headed out from ICY before day break two boats deep looking for Redfish. Took a few diffrent stops to play the wind but we ended up with a 3 man limit for the day. All fish were caught on market shrimp under a popping cork

Nice!! Were they actually caught in the bay or at marsh island? Hate asking that, I really just want to know if there's fish in there besides at marsh island

I wondered the same thing but like you, I hate to ask.

I will say this yall pass up a lot of fish running all the way to marsh island.

Nice haul. Me and the wifey went for some hours today. No redfish but a few flounder, bunch of catfish, and a few specks.

That's not a bad day at all. I had my chance on a big flounder but when I went to flip him in the boat he came off the hook.

We just bought our first boat and it was the second time out to VBay for us. My wife was losing confidence in our fishing know how.

Out at Palmetto State Park. Just a quick ride down the river then out through that 4 mile cut to the bay.

It's a lot easier going out of ICY unless you were camping at the park.

Launched out of the Point. Fished until 10 am, 4 reds and 3 flounder. Reds were all about 17-18 inches. Funny bite, but happy with the fish.

Yea I think with the water finally warming up and starting to clean up a little bit the fishing should just get better and better as the summer goes on. It has been a late start for me in V-Bay this year.
