Vermillion Bay
The bay looks good. Going catching as soon as weather permits.

the cove is actually pretty... I always wonder if you could still catch some reds there or in sharks bayou somewhere... Almost all of the bay gets dirty, so you would think the reds would pile up in the clearer waters.. Salinity is still at 6ppt

I went out yesterday. Cove was choppy early, one of first three at the Quintana ramp. So we crossed the bay to get protected water. Nothing biting in the island or outside the pass for me. Tried it all. Gulf side was calm, returned back with nothing. Left about noon. Boat ran great and happy to have made the trip.
