Mom is gone.
 

My Mother passed at 9:30 am this morning at Christus Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. She had a long struggle being in and out of Intensive care/ Rehab hospitals / and Palliative care for the last few months. Our family is both saddened by her passing, and happy that she has found peace & rest.

Here is the picture of her. It's a few year's before i had the pleasure of meeting her, but is still my favorite.

I love you Mamma, I know that i will see you again someday.

My prayers are with you, her and, your entire family. Knowing her struggle is over, even though it leaves a void, has to provide some comfort.

Thank you everyone for your kind words, The family and I are very saddened by her passing, but at the same time, we are also happy that she is now has peace. She had suffered greatly in these last few years.

After having gone through this, i can honestly say that i would wish a death from alzheimers / dementia on anyone.
