Yellow mouth baits
I recently started using yellow mouth jig heads and I will say though they are more expensive than the other cheaper one is gave them a try and I will say I swear by them now they make up the cost when you get more than two fish off a gulp I have tried some of the others style jig heads and none come close the style hook and size are perfect Greta strength also spend the money people you will be happy

Thanks.
We have long said almost exactly what you did. Once you try them, you will use them. Appreciate the comments |
I started using them over the summer. Love them, its about dang impossible to get a bait off of one of them. Great jig heads. Put a dadgum sand eel or something on one of those dudes, and its a fight to get that thing off. Never used a jighead that good before.

I've used a lot of imitations similar but the shank size with the sloped grove then flat top to it is perfect Anyone fishing gulp knows how aggravating it is to catch two fish the throw one away I had chunks missing out of my gulp bait still holding on to the jig head love them and don't even get me started in the bang time corks fish them and if you don't like them I'll be shocked

Yep great hold on a bait! You'll tear up a matrix shad trying to change colors.
|
Does anyone have a pic of this jighead? Do they come in 3/8 and if so how much?
|
There is some pics of the jigheads here.
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Yello...59563850825364 They come in 1/16, 1/8, 1/4 and 3/8. |

3/8 with 4/0 Mustad Ultrapoint black nickle.
|
Does the 3/8 only come with 4/0?
|
Yes.
The 1/4 is a 3/0 and the 1/16 and 1/8 are 2/0 |
I got ya. The 4/0 is way big for most of the baits i fish. Im sure they are great leadheads but i dont understand why almost every company increases hook size with weight.

YMB jighead and matrix shad is da killa!
|
I used the 3/8 in a 3 in gulp swimming mullet and HH grub fits good

Best jig head I have fished. Also caught a 34 inch and a bunch of slots on the same YM jig. |

your facebook yellow mouth baits link is dead so im glad you posted a picture so I can see what they look like
I have long been looking for a mold to make my own jig heads but I cant find the 1/8 oz jigs that will accept 2/0 hooks. I just don't like anything smaller then a 2/0 hook yet all the 1/8 oz jigs in the store are only 1/0 and barely stick out of the plastic body so I like the sizes of hooks you use. tandem rigging a pair of 1/4 oz or 3/8 oz jigs on light tackle can be a real PITA with all that weight but a 1/0 jig hook gets lost inside a 3" cocahoe and you miss a lot of fish until you get the website up and running, why don't you post a list of the jig sizes and hook sizes for them in the for sale section giving us prices and a way to order your jigs |
We have:
1/16 with 2/0 Mustad hooks in unpainted 1/8 with 2/0 Mustad hooks in unpainted, chartreuse and white 1/4 with 3/0 Mustad hooks in unpainted, chartreuse and white 3/8 with 4/0 Mustad hooks in unpainted for and order form, email sales@yellowmouthbaits.com |
Took about 3 minutes to get a price list and order form back, thumbuo
