Could find anyone to go offshore with me so I went the doctor for a stopped up ear..

Can NOT clear one of my ear drums... Can't dive until I do.. $200 doctor visit. $ 100 meds..

So Off I went to go catch some trout.. Went by fearman for some bait.. about the 10th throw my almost brand new net(Last fall) get caught in the sheet piling..

Broke about half the draw strings and I'm sure I ripped it good.. Didn't look I was so disgusted..

Well had about 12 big shrimp and 25 or so finger mullet..

Off I went to the Pass. Water was dirty close.. Had to go long.. GO to the spot in 18' of wa wa.. Current was ripping..

Marked some fish on my new Lowrance touch screen. Got anchored up and started to catch ha few.. Water was so green the toothy fairy's were also there..


The Spanish are large.. Caught about 12 trout and a nice shark came to play.. That shut the bite down. Had to throw up current with a 1/2 oz jig and lsu and glow/chart was the ticket.

Moved over to west a little and anchored up near a Jack-up.. Well about 5 minute later, Some Arrogant, Egotesical NO GOOD Mother - Ker comes in a green gravois with Mega- Bite on the side and sets his anchor and boat right where I'm throwing..

Could Not Believe the GALL this guys HAS..

Let him have the place, went BACK to the fish.. Anchor up.. First cast. another trout..

Caught about 5 more trout and 2 big Spanish.. Hooked up the triton to @ 5000 rpm's. Cruised in with the Jam on to some awesome music.. Made the 38 mi run in about 50 min.

Really needed that after a 17 night grind in 7,000 of Deep Blu.. I'm up typing this report At 3AM.. Can't get back to a full nights sleep yet.. I guess I need to pop some melatonin..

Keep 19 trout and 3 big Spanish.. Good Little afternoon trip..

Tried to take pic.'s with my I phone by my self.. They didn't come out to well.

Nice report and yep that's t-coon... Never did really care for that guy and I never even met him. He thinks he owns v bay.... Supposed to be a good fisherman, but apparently not a courteous one

Thanks for the report...fished those same spots offshore about a week ago with live shrimp and scratched. Guess I was a little too early

I will add fuel to the flame.....t coon is a arrogant sob. Almost fought him when I worked at the prop shop. Tried to blame his pos etec breaking on prop repairs.

if that's the same guy that use to own the boat a couple of years ago or not, but if it is, I believe he runs the acadianafishing.com website....bought some shiny hineys from him a couple years ago, and he did offer for me to park my boat at his camp when my tire was flat at the Point one day....think his real name is Pierre.

Buddy of mine is pretty tight with him. We went by his house one time to drop him off some tuna we had caught. He seemed pretty cool. Arrogant? Yes. Very. But I know PLENTY of arrogant fisherman.

Arrogant I dont mind... Its disrespectful I cant handle. Im sure he was real nice considering you were giving him free tuna...

He is very sure of his abilities but has always been very nice to me, I got nothinh bad to say about T-COON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never met the guy outside of him asking how my food was (it was good, the gravy for the biscuits is top notch as well as the rabbit fricasse:smokin:), but he does catch lotsa fish in VBay and people hate on him because he doesn't tell where he caught or what he used.

Have seen his boat just pull up to a spot full of people and just start fishing like he owns the place, but the place is not some big secret.



i said this before, but there is a waitress in TCoons that looks mexican/latino that is drop dead gorgeous

Was at the trash pile burning em up and guess he was jealous so decided to come running through where we were fishing... All I mentioned in the post was green gravois (not wanting to throw his name out there) but everyone knew who I was talking about.

I have had one run in with T-Coon outside of his restaurant:

Fishing with two friends on my buddy's boat near Diamond reef on July 4th about 8 years ago.
We were young and dumb and probably should not have been out there being so inexperienced on the water.
When we were leaving the camp and passing by Bayview I asked if I could top off the fuel tank.
"No man its full. We just put 90 gallons last week" he replies.

Well, we start to head in and motor dies about 3 miles South East of the pass.
We get on the radio to call for help and T-Coon is the only answer we get. He stopped his fishing trip to come help us. It took him more than an hour to find us bc we didnt have gps and hardly knew where the hell we were.

When he finds us he gets on board starts trouble shooting fuel system, by passes water seperator and damn near re runs entire fuel line. The whole time asking my buddy is he is sure he has fuel in the boat. "Yea we just put 90 gallons!" Was all my buddy kept saying.

After about 45 minutes of trouble shooting T-Coon finally takes off part of the deck to access fuel tank and uses a dip stick to realize we are out of fuel.

He tows the boat (a 22' cuddy cabin, very heavy) to the pass and ties it to the channel marker and gives us a ride back to bayview. He wouldnt accept any money for his troubles.

Single most embarressing moment of my life while on the water. I didnt get back on a boat with that friend for years. Now when I get on this friends boat I bring my own fuel and top off his tank before we get on the water.

I can tell you about a few times he's be an a$$ while i was on the water. I refuse to eat there myself.

No one said he wasn't a very good fisherman, just a very disrespectful fisherman.

I know I was just poking fun:) I don't fish VBay that much to have run ins with him but seems like many do

and his food is nothing but fried dog crap!
