Nice fish. The bottom on BL is that solid? You try that where I fish you'd be up to your neck in marsh mud.

Aside from the Islands, there's a couple places I know with a hard bottom, other wise you are right. You would be up to you neck with Marsh Mud.

Artificial, neither of us throw live bait, ESPECIALLY CROAKER!

Ha. Me neither. I just know some guys around Galveston catching some nice fish and all they catch on this time of year is croakers.

We both have PB >11 lbs, mine is 11.37 lbs. I'm not sure exact weight on his, but it was over 11.5 lbs.

The "croaker soakers" kill tons of 25"+ trout this time of year. I know it's legal, but I personally let everything 23+ back, unless I don't think she'll make it. If the guys catching them on croaker did the same, I think we'd have a lot more big girls around. These two were caught on pearl floating Fatboys.

bgizzle 05-23-2013 09:32 PM
