Eye Protection

Here is what can happen if you get hit in the eye. Glad I had them on is all I can say
|
buddy, ive had several, i mean several close calls where my glasses saved my eyes. i saw when w struck josh in the face. i thought that ol boy was in trouble,. please guys, where ya glasses
|
There is no doubt I would have lost a eye on this one. Still hurt like hell even with the glasses
|
I have always wondered how Costas would hold up to an impact. I have been wearing the Harpoon 580's for about 5 years in refineries and chemical plants as safety glasses. I have only had one operator make the comment "I didnt know Costa made safety glasses". Told him they were a new series and eased on out of that control room. Good to know they will take a blow.

He needs some knee pads to fish with me.
We was headin' in to Calcasieu Point and he was on the phone with someone, not paying attention. We hit 3 big azzd rolling wakes from a crew boat heading south. He fell on his knees, then on his badonkadonk then he laid down on his back. I don't know how he missed the two topwater lures he had tied on to his rods. He was lucky. He got up and had a big swollen knee. All this action and his phone never left his ear. He was on a phone talkin' mission. It was an interesting day. You fellers just know a small tidbit of info. about yesterday's trip. We laughed all frikkin day long. It was a terrible fishing day, but a fun day overall. |

I seen all three of them. My knuckles were white from holding the bar above the windershield.
|
Hey Capt D... I know G&H will send them in and fix them for you. I have a pair over there now. They send them strait to Coasta DM.. Gonna cost you about 70 or 80. I already sent 3 in for lense repair because i drop them.

When we went over the wave, it looked like he was gonna fall out the boat. I didn't want to slow down cause he was already air born, but I didn't want him to fall out either. So I slowed down and he looked like a big sack of taters someone chunked off a train car at 60 mph. Down on his knees between the console and the gunnel(with trebble hooks on his rods), then twisted around and on his badonkadonk, then on his back, wit the phone on his ear the whole time. Now that is talent. |

LMHEOOOOO .. I just got one of those mental images.... You didnt just stand there and laugh at him did you ray? |

I was also hanging on, there were 2 more of them big azzd waves right behind the first one. But he was safe down on the front floor where he was laying. |
I would've paid money to see that
