22LR At Academy in Laffy......

all star rod 04-02-2013 12:37 PM

Hebert guns in prairieville had the Remington 525 LR count box for 30 bucks yesterday. Picked up 1

SHORT SHANK 04-02-2013 03:17 PM

I'm glad you found some LRs All Star but $30 for 525 bulk is crazy. Thank God I had
some LRs before this bullet crunch hit and hopefully it will pass like it did last time!

Have you seen the prices on line when the ammo dealers have them in stock...btw at normal times it is 10-15 bucks....I guess 20 extra $ does not mean too much to me. I could spend that is gas and time looking for them. Matter of fact picked up another 525 today.

$30 for 575 22 bullets...LMAO

Yea you got made a duck...no matter what supply and demand they are 16.99 a box worth no more

southern151 04-02-2013 08:54 PM

Actually, the 525 Federal pack is normally $21.95, even before the "crunch." So, at $30 in the time we are making for ourselves, it isn't bad...especially when the same goes at $60 all day on gunbroker right now!

You have admitted twice to overpaying per round of ammo. Anywhere from $.43/rd to $.54/rd and, you consider ASR in the wrong?!:rotfl:

Now, if you're suggesting you'll sell 1k of .223 for $225, let me know. I'd buy em for plinking. Sucks that I bought a few AR's(well before the gun battle kicked off) and, now, I don't wanna shoot too many of em!

LOL......so I paid an extra 3-5 cents for 525 rounds....10-15 dollars total....I guess I have to go sell my house now....PFTTT....

I have the $$$ I could care less about 10-15 bucks...unlike you I do not need to go to wal mart and buy reduced priced spooks for 1.50-2.00 and package them (3 per) on ebay for 15-20 bucks.....:rotfl:
