Moonshiners!!!
I occasionally watch this Moonshiner show. I find the old man Jim Tom entertaining with his story. Reminds me of a great Uncle.
My question is, what does a quart of premium moonshine like that cost? |
I don't know but I would like to have some.

For a jar of 100 proof is $20/quart at Nunu's in Youngsville.
Attachment 46251 Sam's has 40 proof apple pie shine for about the same price. They also have the 100 proof shine with cherries. Attachment 46252 Attachment 46253 I know it doesn't proof as high as some I have had, but its locally available. |
My buddy in West Va gets it for me....... $25 a jar. PM me for details.

My little boy loves Jim Tom. He does his best rendition of his songs and loves that I've started calling him Jim Tom. Lol

That show is so fake and staged ..... Really if your dodging the law , let's show your house , truck, roads you drive on and last but not least your face!!!

And, that's why the producer refers to the the individuals as characters...good detective work, w!

All the recent stuff is fake, but last seasons clips of Ole' Popcorn sutton, were real clips of his last run of shine! Knowing he was going to the pin to face hard time at his age he figured he'd make one last run and a somewhat documentary of his life and how he did it, before he did himself in to meet his maker!
That Ole' dude was moonshine @ it's finest! There's about 10 10min. Clips on you tube from the beginning to the end before he checked out! Once I watched one, I was hooked into the rest! Check it out! The dude was a hoot! His interview with Johnny Knoxville was priceless! |

Man, anywhere else you can get that apple pie shine? I had some of that a year ago on a hunting trip, and let me tell you son, that stuff is awesome. Need to get my hands on some more of it.

Several people in our area make shine. The store bought stuff ain't "shine" by any means. The flavored crap they have ain't nothing compared to the real thing either. People buy into the "moonshine" label and the crazy moonshiners show just helps move the product. Not a coincidence all this appeared around the same time.
