9 1/2lb caught out of Parkside.

My friend just sent me this text. The guy in the picture was fishing out of Parkside Marina in a tournament and caught this 9 1/2lb bass. Anybody else heard about this or was there.

Pictures definitely at parkside and looks like a fish out of the calcasieu. Not sure about 9.5 though.

I had a feeling you'd have something smart azz to come back with on that.

Here you go, the culverts that my house and land are located at. How's that sound to you?

Do the fish in Calc have a different spot arrangement than that of Parkside?

Ace Ventura is on the scene folks! No need to panic!:rotfl:

Prolly some Florida strain from the pool that someone released in there. They've DNA tested some of those fish and they are from that strain.

My buddy won this tourney and he texted me a pic of this guy. He witnessed the weigh in 9.56 is what he said.

My comment about it being a calcasieu fish was based on the color...that nasty chocolate milk river water makes the fish have a grayish color to them...unlike fish that are dark green from clearer waters.

This guy had a 9.56 and didn't win the tournament???? What was the winning stringer? 9lb stringer on the river is strong especially considering the current conditions!!!!!!

amiller72 01-06-2013 07:20 PM

12.5 or so won it

So if the fish was a dark green, it wasn't caught on the calc? The west fork stays clear a solid percentage of the year Vs the main river.
