I'm already standing in line for the next gun show in Lafayette on Feb. 9 LOL
I'll be a year older by the time they open the doors.

I have to vent somewhere, went to the LC gun show today, those gun vendors have lost their mind, be glad there is laws against gasoline price gouging, cause these guys have marked up guns at least 150 to 200 per cent,taking advantage of the possibilty of future gun law changes. There are no new gun laws or changes that justify the prices they are charging, in my book they are trying to capitalize on a bad situation for their personal gain and ripoff of the American Public. Thats what we need a law to prevent from happening, to make a long story short, I will buy online and use the $8.00 admission to pay for shipping, they can kiss my a$$, won't be going to another show any time soon.

Reason why I did not go............ you can buy the same guns online for half price or through an honest dealer

You might have to wait for an AR- type gun but the price is why better

Thats why i dont go, gg brings in the same vendors for the last umpteenth years.....waste of 8 bucks let the gun craze die off.....

Got one trying to gouge here now. I coulda done the same with the last ar I had in stock but, I promised an sc member a price prior to all the hoopla and, it will be here Monday and he will buy it for the original agreed price. I hate when people try to take advantage of others!

I bought a dpms .223 about 3 moths ago at cabelas for about $700. The same gun today at the LC gun show....$2200. Not tricked out and pimped out...bone stock.

Minimum 2k or higher.

Pretty soon it's going to be just like duck and goose leases, the only people that can afford to have fun with them will the ones that are loaded. You cant go have some fun tearing stuff up in the country at one dollar a round.

I agree. It's not like you're raising the price of something someone needs to live. I would consider an AR a luxury. I'm going to try to sell my AR for 4000 and if someone wants it that bad then that's their decision. They must feel its worth that price.

I went to the show this morning and actually bought a pistol cheaper than I could find it anywhere eles with some accessories. Most guns were marked up maybe they just miss priced the one I got.

Ok I know I will have people look at this and say im nuts but this is what I want for it and if it dont go for the price then ok I will keep it I have a stock m&p 15 that will come with a leather wood 1x4power scope, one 30 round mag, a case, and alittle over 1000 rounds but this is y im selling it as is for so high once the ban goes in to affect if it passes and I have a feeling it will u will not be able to get one eve again because of the fact that it will not be able to be transfered between people nor threw dealers it will have to be regestered to u and only u threw nfa and once it is its yous for life. Once u pass away it will have to be turned in to the government so me being a level headed person and really thinking about this is y my price is where it is. I got an ar15 list price is $1550 on it, but if some one wants to buy it for a stupid amount I'll sell it! I sold a friend my ar that I pieced together for 600, I called him up today and told him to look on Las at what people are selling, $1800 for same rifle thats 3x the cost! oh, RRA has went up on there list price on there guns I checked there website today! And I never go to the gun shows they usually sell crap pistols that break once they leave town and there prices aren't different from the local pawnshops and gun stores. so why pay admission to not get a deal?

Gun is worthless for protection...get a pistol or shotgun with a short barrel. ALso, I know a lot of peeps that deer hunt and that is the last gun they would use....Hell I do not blame the gun dealers if peeps are that desperate to pay for one charge all you can...

BTW, my shot gun I can take the PLUG out and my 40 cal PX4 holds 15....
