Decoys for Dinner
Anyone up for some trading? I have 8 1/2 dozen decoys I would be willing to trade for some meat. I would let em go for 4 speckle bellies 10 teal and a couple of Deer roasts. PM if interested. LakeCharles area.

Wow what has the world come to!!!! Had no idea you couldn't trade. Let me rephrase. I will gift someone some Decoys if they would like to donate some meat to feed my sick father. That should take care of it.

Gotta love internet d!ckheads when someone is trying to help someone out. If you don't think game wardens monitor the internet you are naive. It's fine what he wants to do it's just not something I would put on the web!

Take it easy fellas. It's all good. I knew you could not buy and sell game. But just helping people out with some good old fashion bartering is a crime now to. This country would be much better off if people still used the old ways of getting things done.

Because you haven't looked. It's called the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918. Google it up.

A guy I know from Texas hit an owl and it got stuck in his ranch hand bumper. So he took it and put it with his ducks on the deck of his boat and took a picture as a joke. He also had a pic of it stuck in his bumber. Put it on the internet and within days the Feds were at his house with a search warrant.

Got my degree from Phoenix Online in Internet Game Wardening. Apparantly they need more internet game wardens patrolling the avenues of the web, got hired the day after I received my diploma in an Email.

A little common sense goes a long way. It's not so much the wardens are patrolling the web. It's all the other citizens that see what's on the web and reports it to the wardens. There are people on every single site that can, will, and have turned in law breakers. Ya'll forgot about the kids who shot up all them teal and posted it on Facebook a while back? BUSTED!!

A co-worker of mine has a son who is a game warden. He has busted a couple of people posting illegal things on facebook, so yes they do monitor things like facebook and what not.

I've run into the little green men fishing/hunting no less than 10 times, every time they have been nothing but professional.

The way to "help someone out" if they suggest something that might be borderline or might yield negative legal issues is to do so through a private message. Then they could decide to edit their original post to clarify without drawing undue attention to the issue.

Wouldn't it benefit the other people around here who don't know the laws either? But I digress.

They make themselves look bad not us. We control our own likelihood as an outdoorsman and sportsman. And Chris ur right up there with pat Broussard you may not know him but he's the nicest down to earth man you'd ever meet.
