Plans for Opening Day
 

Whats everyone doing opening day? I'll be in Klondike trying to kill a few specks. Then after the hunt probably go get some lunch somewhere in Lake Arthur then go catfishing.

Leaving next friday afternoon for gc then hunting saturday morning, cleaning birds while the french music is playing all while drinking a whiskey drink, stinking up the pot then watching lsu. Then do it all over again sunday. Man i love duck season!!!!!!!

Cook up a big deer roast Friday hit em hard Saturday mornin. Come back start waxing birds sippin whiskey then cook em.

I'll be limited out by 7:00am on woodies----back at the house, change, clean birds, foodsave them, grab .270, go kill another deer.

Sounds like some fun. I think I'll save the cooking for Sunday, I haven't been in a boat in a few months and it's killing me

I haven't dried any cats out in a while, I'm itchin to make a grease gravy my friend.

Smashin my limit and making my money. Prob get my party on at the regatta sat night, then right back to it every day of the season

Hopefully have 30 teal KIA by 8am...we normally kill only teal opening weekend which is fine by me

Makeing a hunt in cypress point then setting jugs later that afternoon are yall going fish with rod and reel or jugs

me too!!! I'm off 10 days in a row and plan on loosing alot of sleep and filling the freezer. Even got a deer hunt lined up one afternoon with a buddy of mine. It's gonna be awesome!!!!!

Well im off from Nov 10-Nov 26. Needless to say there will be lots of blood shed. I've sat on vacation all year just for this!

Make the 30 min boat ride to shine off every other river hunter, "lighten my load" once at the blind, cook breakfast, hopefully shoots some birds, then repeat. 3 day weekend.

Brushed some blinds today went south of lake arthur northwest of lake Arthur and some in lacassine. Expected to see more birds. Saw bout 50 specks total and about 25 ducks after all that running around. Did see a lot of ducks yesterday in the marsh though.
