Hope this cool spell we have now have brought more birds down. I winder if things are stll dry in the ark, ok, and IL area. If so, that is better for us in South LA.

I plan on doing this towards the end of this week. Our land owner is going to pass the buffalo next weekend.

A guy i work with hunts in klondike and is going back tommorrow as well for some blind prep and told me he'll take video at his spot. He said that his ricefield is holding between 1-1,500 birds with a mix of teal, pintail, widgeon, greys and specklebellies.

cmcnabb 10-27-2012 01:06 PM

Yea we were in Klondike yesterday. It's lookin very good for this year. I'm ready for the opener, killin bellies in the morning then goin juggin after the hunt

Sitting by the fire waiting on a seafood gumbo with CFB on the tv; listening to one group of geese in one ear and another group in another. The sky is full.
