Thanks for all of your kindness and encouragement, when fishing the other boaters wave at each other (kind of habit) when birds are landing and boats are racing, it from waving to the BIRD!

Flounder Hunting...
I have caught only a couple of flounder in VB in the past two years... I'm fairly new to saltwater fishing... Can someone give me a couple of tips on how to catch them and what type of areas to go to to catch them... Do they like reef type bottoms, sandy bottoms, muddy bottoms, grassy areas, open water areas, underwater structure, etc... Thanks in advance for a reply to the questions...

Where grass meets a marsh drain. Throw into the grass and into drains they sit and chill n wait for baut to ambush. 80% of my flounder have came off the bank and a good bit. Gulp swimming mullet and curly tails they love. Paddle tail baits
what do yall use to catch those flat?
In BL they smoke em on drop offs in the ship channel. White curly tails and white gulp swimming mullet and chart gulp swimming mullet
1/16 or 1/8oz yellow mouth jigheads they don't eat any others lol
