Need prayers
 

My mother-in-law was diagnosed with ovarian cancer a few months ago. she is the best person i know and im very lucky to have her in my life. well last week after 3 rounds of chemo they went to do surgery and found out it was far worse then they had previously thought. the cancer is in her bowls and wrapped arround her stomach. the chemo had no effect and now we are waiting on DNA test to see what will attack the cancer. She never drank or smoked and puts her life in gods hands. some of you guys know her and know she is not deserving of this. this is also been a huge strain on my wife and family. my wife is very head strong but this is killing her. the dr said it looks like ovarian but acts like mesothelioma. she has a new specialist and we are hoping for a better news soon. please pray for her. she needs all the help she can get.

Prayers sent. My wife just had hers removed yesterday for the same reason. We caught it early enought and Dr. said all should be ok. **** Luck and may she pull thought this.

we just found out some info. it is ovarian cancer. she may even be able to come home tomorrow. they are gonna come up with a new chemo plan and may even have the treatments in lake charles. thanks for all the prayers and please keep us in them.this little bit of news sure raised my wifes spirits. she even talked to me today. yeah long story. lol

Prayers sent. I would like to suggest that when a potential bad diagnosis is made as you have mentioned please seek a second opinion to make sure all the options for treatment are covered. Highly recommend going to a place that specializes in cancer treatment such as M.D. Anderson in Houston for example if she is able to. It may shed new light on the path ahead.

Longcast, just went through this (cancer fight) with my wife's family. All I can say is we will be sending prayers to your wife and her mother, but also you. It puts a strain on everyday life in ways nobody would understand unless they have been through it. You guys will have a long road ahead of you and I hope God will be there to help, healing her as well as spiritual support for you and your wife.

Prayers going out to you and your family my friend. My heart goes out to your mother-in-law; I lost my mother 7 years ago to Ovarian Cancer, she never smoked or drank either. It's a hard fight but she just needs to stay strong and keep her faith. Good luck
