I do the same thing but marinate with italian dressing and cajun power garlic sauce.....talk about some good stuff

Hard to believe it wouldn't be freezer burned. I probably wouldn't eat it myself. That is almost three years in the freezer.

I have been eating some for months from 09. Some of it had a ill freezer burn but just trimmed it and got down! My friend cleaned out his freezer and hooked me up.

Pfffhtt!!!!! No way in hell it would last that long at my house. 3 boys 15 18 & 20, & a wife that likes to cook it! 5 deer from last season GONE!:work:

my boss gave me some from his freezer monday, and I ate it monday! I don't see how you can keep something as good as deer in a freezer for 3 or 4 years!

W eats mostly fish, assuming from limits before 9am and fishing 4 times a week. When does he have time to eat anything else?

When somebody gives me some deer meat, cause i don't hunt it. My wife takes that and chicken frys it with some homemade mashed potatoes and cream gravy. Also makes some homemade rolls man talk about good.

Sounds like my clan. 3 deer and 5 hogs last year, and I'm runnin low already

We used to have plenty of venison when we lived in the midwest and the family killed a dozen or more deer each year. I mean we ate venison 6 or 7 nights a week. It was awesome. You have me wishing I had found some backstrap in the freezer.
