First Bull Red 8/26/12
 

Introduced one of my little ones to chasing bull reds under the birds yesterday. I had to step in to land the first one, but she would not be denied on the second one. Thank goodness for braid. The reds were bulldozing through the washout late yesterday. Passed on good trout action for a lifetime memory for her.

Thanks for the props - it was truly a joy to watch her fight those fish and then be so excited about it. She brought pics to school and had all the boys peppering her with questions about how she caught them - she eats that stuff up.

You have to love the smile on a youngster's face while they're holding a fish like that. Hopefully that is the first of many to come.

What a great day on the water. Congrats. Me and my boys got into them a while back. Now thats all they want to do. Im sure she is hooked.

Awesome.....My wife and oldest son have had there turn, but I still got a daughter and another son to do this with. Thats why I'm pretty sure my bass boat days are over. Its hard to compete with saltwater when it comes to women and kids. And no matter how much more I like to bass fish, I'd way rather take pictures of the big smiles like your little girl has there.
