The Tackle Box - New Location!
 

After 3 years at our current location on Maplewood in Sulphur, we have decided to upgrade to a new building at a new location. The new shop will add some square footage to the show floor and give us the ceiling height we really need. It will also have a great flow through the store, thanks to a centrally placed reel bar / service counter. We hope to bring even more great products to this new store, while still providing the excellent customer service we're known for. We hope to be up and running in the new location at the end of September. The new store will be on North City Service / Hwy 108 Sulphur, directly across the street from Walmart and right next to the automatic ice machine.

Here's just a couple pics of the build at the moment in the red iron stage.

thats funny me and a buddy was just joking around the other day about what that new building was going to be. i said maybe it will be the new tackle box. i was totally joking. didnt even know yall was looking to move!

But you got to keep the ceiling low over the rods or it wont be the same , I really enjoy my heart stopping everytime I take a rod off the rack and hit the ceiling with it ....lol

Its a TRUE factoid that i can not walk into Sulphur tackle and not spend 10$.... I think i have a bait collecting addiction. I still have baits from the 80's and 90's that i havent even used.

I too will miss sticking rods through the ceiling tiles.

Thank for all the positive feedback y'all! I think the soft-open will be in September and the grand opening probably after hunting season and before spawn, early next year.

I will update this thread once in a while with new pics of the progress.

Oh and yes, I'm well aware of snowflake's proximity to the new shop! Could be a bad thing!
