Had Gerard and his son today , caught all trout on topwater and found a school of bull reds to play with for a little while

Kade you would look like shat in my hat. If I could tell you how many blowups we had on topwater, it was ridiculous. They would knock the bait clean out of the water. If we had caught every blow up I can't imagine how many fish we would have had. It was my son's first time catching on topwater and he is a believer now!

The entire school was that color. The water was red/orange when they would surface. I caught one on askitterwalk and thought sure he had destroued the plug. However the entire plug was in his mouth and there wer no hooks caught. He was just too greedy to let it out of his mouth!

Yes they were some pretty reds.....
Glad your son had a good time and we warned him about how many trout he would miss on topwater ...lol

Man whats up with that minnkota on the front of that rig? wheres the MG?
Top water is the t.i.t.s. of spec fishing, great catch.

Can't find nobody around Lake Charles to work on a MG ... So had to join the club
