It time fur dem figgys an mamas tree it be too small.
So she ask if any body got extra so she can perturb dem in da jar.
She got a good recipe and boy dat stuff better than bunny on toast.

They use to have a place in Acadiana area where you could pick them.

I sure do miss my tree.

Da new nabors got five kids an non of them even tried um yet .......10 years no figs.

My Daddies Na-nan had a citrus grove, we use to get persimmons, figs, blood oranges, pecans, satsumas, lemons. She passed on and the family sold the property.
