2012 cca trout shootout leaderboard

Hello, everyone. My name is Hunter, and just as last year, I will be updating all of you with the hourly weigh-in stats and winners of the hourly prize.

Feel free to ask any questions regarding the Trout Shootout and I will try to reply to all of them.

As of 7:30 (yeah, I'm a little late) Chaz Drost has the biggest weighed-in fish at 5lbs 14oz.

Keep up the good fishing, everyone.

Bluechip 06-02-2012 07:49 AM

Gerald 06-02-2012 11:38 AM

On the picture issue..... maybe there is someone there with a phone that can take some picutes and post them.

Other suggestions......

Can you find out and add the ages of the Youth fisherpersons.

And post the screen names [or show that they are a member] of any Saltycajun members that weigh in a fish.

Also maybe post a list of each hourly winner and the size of their fish.

Post any other "fishing" type information. Water conditions, wind, where the fish was caught, what type bait was used, etc.

It is great to get your "LIVE" information...... Thanks.

Me and sandwich fished strictly for big girls and scratched. Tough day for us. Time for a nap!

We got a few nice ones early but we struggled the rest of the day, very tough for us too, had found some fish the last 3 days but the wind today messed us up, time for a nap too and LSU baseball tonight

Feesherman 06-02-2012 04:15 PM

Damn looks like me and my uncle could have placed in the top 20. Didn't think they would round out so small. We only caught 9 trout but it sounds like we caught more than anyone else did on artis. 7 of those on topwater. Tough day of fishing though. Very windy and stained to muddy water.

Could of, should of, but didnt......little harder when its time to perform........

Big Kahunaz 06-02-2012 04:43 PM

Sup on the top 20 stats?

"W" 06-02-2012 05:16 PM

If that 7.10 held..another year with a upper 6lb trout winning....

Hunter Little 06-02-2012 05:20 PM

Sorry, everyone. The iPad died before I could let you guys know whats going on. The final rankings were put on one sheet of paper only, and weren't given to me. I had no way of getting those to you, but I'll try to contact some people or get someone to post the finals in this thread.

Top Dawg 06-02-2012 05:44 PM

What I was told. Even a 3lb trout in top twenty is weak. I can remember catchin a 5 pound trout and placing last. And even some year not even placing. Between that many anglers there should be lots of 5 pound trout brought in. I understand it was windy but still...

Thanks Hunter, I'm sure I speak for everyone to say we appreciate your work today.

X2. I was watchin ery hour. Thanks for your time.

ckinchen 06-02-2012 05:57 PM

I believe the smallest trout in the top 20 of the adult divsion was over 4lbs and the smallest in the youth divsion was over 2. This is based upon the final standings which like hunter said we do not have right now. This includes the live fish bonus where applicable.

Hydro 06-02-2012 06:03 PM

Thanks for the "play-by-play" !!!

Hell, when Chicken gets his dirt...why not just order enough to fill in Big Lake. Name another place on the Louisiana coast where you can consistently catch trout this size.

Top Dawg 06-02-2012 06:16 PM

You're missing the point. When it goes from consistently catching 6's to consistently catching 3's. We went wrong somewhere.
