Is this cooked rice or un-cooked that you add????

Thanks for the recipe!

Uncooked rice. After adding rice cook for 20 minutes. Only add enough water to keep from sticking while cabbage cooks.

We eat cabbage smothered down with ground turkey often, this looks a little better I'll have to try it out!

Yer_Corks_Under 05-11-2012 11:29 AM

How many cups of rice? You have 1 cup of rice in the recipe twice.

Sorry for the mistake. Thanks for catching it. One cup of uncooked rice. Recipe is one unit of all ingredients. That is what makes it so easy. I have also added shrimp to it at times.

This was originally a weight watchers recipe. A friend of mine and I changed it some. They did use ground turkey and turkey sausage in the original recipe. They used brown rice also and no seasoning.

Where do you add water? I don't see water listed. How much water? Also do you drain rotel or leave liquid?
