holding pin
 

it is against my better jugement to post again but i have gotten some strait answers here before.

question---- can someone tell me if i can use a holding pin for reds incase i catch a bigger one insted of the ice chest which is too much stress on fish. a live well is out of the question but a pin would work.
i like the big reds and if im catching big reds holding a fish in hopes of a better one would work.

But for real I dont see why that wouldnt be ok. As long as you dont realease one and it floats to the top. Dont get caught with 2 in that pen.

Hey Mr Ratdog, I use a wadefishing doughnut net to keep fish fresh until I'm ready to clean them. I'm usually looking to downsize my catch and keep some 18-20" reds. I have released 25-27" fish from the net with no problems. To me, the smaller fish taste better and they are easier to clean.

now dats what i mean..... but im doing upsizeing. want stakes and pook chops.

thanks man i gunna make one from hula hoops unless i can get the tube out the tire. which ever is cheeper.

yes it would work but be happy with one big one and keep the rest around 20"you come out with more meat than a big one once u cut bad meat off the big one.also the big one are your spawning fish that go into the gulf.

RatDog I gots an extra peece of mesh if you need it, shuld be big enuff to hold up to a 3'5" Make-O shark or less.

So I'm sure them Reds you catch can fit in it.

All I want for it is a pack of shoe-pick meet or it you do not got that some bull drum wuld werk.

The best way I can get u da pick meat snork is to tel how I get it.
First u gata find one of them rivers like byou st Clair one dat don't flow too much. Then dig up dem worms. U need som good size uns. Put da worme on a small hook an catch u a few breem.
Next change to a bigger Cain pole wit big hook. Put da breem on but only half
Then look for a log about 5 inch wide and as long as to stick in da udder side o da bank. Drop dat half bream in an if day don't bite in five min find a nuder log an do da same

U should need three pick to feed a family of four an a half if u got one of dem half kids.

Best stuff to cook is da I tail yun shake n bake.

I get u mama recipe for shoe balls if u get me da net.

Been making da net but having trouble finding hula hoops . U guys know were I can get hoops cheap. Dollar store and dollar general an't got nun no more. Mama say they best but I can't find um.
I got floats and can make da net . Just need hula hoops.
