Well, I guess it's official
 

Those that know me know I have been out on sick leave for a while. Well, I just sent my paperwork in. As of March 22, I will be retired. Wanted to work 3 more years, but it ain't meant to be.

If you need a fishing or hunting partner, let me know.

I gots about 7 or 8 more years left.
My company will let me retire in 3, but govment will penalize me bad if I do.

had one, went to renew it in 06. USCG wanted a letter from my neurosurgeon saying I was capable of performing the job. neuro said no.

Congrats I have 6 to 7 more years depending on how long I want even stated one of those countdown clocks on the computer that shows days, hours, minutes, and seconds. Enjoy it

Congradulations. Retirement is great.....you get to do everything, when [or if] you want to.

I have enjoyed everyone of my 4000+ days of retirement, so far. I have a brand new rod & reel ready to use...... just waitin on this weather [and water] to get better to go catch some fish.
